  • Alexander LoVerde

    Managing Partner

    Alexander LoVerde is the Co-Founder and former CEO of SyncOnSet Technologies. LoVerde previously worked at Entertainment Partners as a Vice President where he shaped commercial strategy and oversaw strategic partnerships. LoVerde has been a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 2020. Prior to founding SyncOnSet, LoVerde worked in management consulting at Deloitte. LoVerde has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Boston College where he also attempted improv comedy. He is married to his high-school sweetheart, has two kids, and currently lives in Summit, New Jersey.

    Jeff Impey

    Managing Partner

    Jeff Impey is the Co-founder and former COO of SyncOnSet Technologies. Impey previously served as the VP of Sales Operations at Entertainment Partners where he led business transformation under the organization’s first private-equity sponsor. Prior to founding SyncOnSet, Impey worked in technology investment banking in Boston. Impey holds a B.S. in Business from Boston College. A native of Vermont, Jeff loves action sports from downhill ski racing to kite surfing. Jeff currently splits his time between Brooklyn, NY and Burlington, VT.

 

Our Story

 

Jeff and Alex founded SyncOnSet Technologies in 2012. While initially inspired to build a shoppable TV consumer app, they discovered an overlooked need for TV & Film productions to digitally track continuity and inventory.

They bootstrapped the company with two other co-founders working out of an apartment in Boston. After receiving strong demand from production customers, they raised venture capital to accelerate product development and customer adoption. SyncOnSet expanded to become a suite of software solutions for crew and major Hollywood studios. SyncOnSet is now relied on by thousands of productions around the world across all studios.

In 2020, Jeff and Alex sold SyncOnSet to Entertainment Partners, the industry’s largest software and payroll service provider. Throughout the 10 years of founding, growing, selling, and integrating their startup, Jeff and Alex have gained a unique perspective and framework for investing in and operating technology companies. They now plan to bring their expertise to new companies and markets.

In 2016, Jeff and Alex became two of the youngest recipients of a Primetime Engineering Emmy Award for their contributions to the industry.

In 2018, Jeff and Alex were named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 List for Hollywood.
